Tarrasque Plate

Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement)

This impenetrable armor is made from refined fragments of a tarrasque's armored hide and retains some of its original properties. You gain a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor. In addition, whenever you're targeted by a magic missile spell, a line spell in which you succeed on the save, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll fails to beat your AC, the effect is reflected back at the caster as though it originated from you, turning the caster into the target.

Legendary Resistance. Three times per day, if you would fail a saving throw, you may choose to succeed instead.

The armor contains no metal.

Tarrasque Plate has the following artifact properties:

• While attuned to the artifact, your constitution and strength scores increase to 20, or increase by 2 if either is already 20 or greater.
• While wearing the armor, you can't be knocked prone unwillingly.
• While attuned to the artifact, you have disadvantage on charisma checks and saving throws, except for intimidation, for which you instead have advantage.
• While wearing the armor, you lose your bonus action.

Fragments of its reddish carapace lay scattered on the ground: the only perceivable damage done to the titanic beast after hours of war. Quickly, Voja scampered across the battlefield to retrieve the pieces. While she had little interest in seeing combat, she had every intention of surviving any that came her way.

She worked tirelessly at the forge for weeks. Then months. A year. It was only then that the resilient hide and armor would become pliable and bend to her will, becoming the suit of armor she would become known for for centuries to come.
